The Eye & Ear Foundation is a support organization for The Eye and Ear Institute—the Departments of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.  Our mission is to advance the leading-edge academic and research efforts with the ultimate goal of enhancing patient care.

In fiscal year 2011, The Eye & Ear Foundation made gifts of nearly $2 million in support of research and education for the Departments of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.

By raising and distributing philanthropic dollars to the departments, the Foundation encourages individuals, foundations, and businesses to support new science for new solutions—to caring for and curing people with diseases and disorders of the eye, ear, nose, throat, head and neck.
